There nothing more frustrating than a computer that is dull, or like we say; that hangs. Nothing worse than watching your PC boot for almost all eternity and you have a pressing job to do🥺.
I have few tips that will help you, follow these tips...
Hard Disk Drive (HDD) speed is primarily measured in RPM (Revolutions Per Minute), which indicates how many times the platters inside the drive spin in one minute. Higher RPM generally translates to faster read/write speeds. Typical HDD speeds range from 5,400 to 7,200 RPM for consumer drives, with higher speeds (up to 15,000 RPM) used in servers and other high-performance applications. The actual read/write speeds, which are more relevant to users, generally fall within 30 to 150 MB/s. For example, a 7,200 RPM HDD might achieve read/write speeds of 90 to 100 MB/s.
Solid-state storage device (SSD) offer significantly faster data access and transfer speeds compared to traditional HDDs, with speeds ranging from 500 MB/s to 3,500 MB/s or more, depending on the model and interface.

From the above you will see the speed difference, is not just the speed but also the power consumption. SSD does better than HDD in these areas
Antivirus
Avoid using two different antivirus software, most windows like window 10 upwards has built in windows defender, just install one trusted antivirus software; I RECOMMEND AVAST ANTIVIRUS
Avoid untrusted antivirus softwares, or just go with the built-in windows defender.
Temp folder 📁
Open control panel search for folders or file explorer options
Just select and delete all the content of this temp folder.
A temp folder is where the computer stores temporary files as you use the applications installed in the computer, temporary folder serves as a temporary memory folders for apps, which the computer deletes the content after a particular task is performed, but sometimes the computer fails to delete these files, and in the next task, these files will cause the computer to delay because it will first delete or modify the existing files compared to that they were not there.
Then customize the power options accordingly, set the sleep time, the cooling option, the battery level, screen light options or follow the below images as I did to mine.
So deleting the files inside there, will greatly help your PC, this will never result to any data loss and also with the applications you are using in the computer.
