They have many Java scripts that perform many jobs on their behalf.  These scrips and robots are being placed on links which when one click on them,  will automatically trigger a text message command to any subscription of their choice,  like ZOMBI, SOCCER, KUNFU etc. This is mostly common with pornography sites.

These scripts can also push Trojans or virus to your phone either as an application or a background running  script, these will either be turning on your data connection, downloading strange apps on its own to your phone and your phone and data  is at the receiving end.


They make money from the shared revenues which the original Owners  of these ads do give to them..

Don't blame MTN or any other network provider but pls be mindful and safe-guard your self while browsing. Computer is an idiot machine and can't do anything on it's own unless using robots or Java scripts etc

For safety,  kindly close any pop-up windows of a tab you didn't open,  or any page you were redirected to when you notice that the content is not what you actually want. Do not proceed,  they will either be advertisers sites or hackers site,  return to the previous page and retry the link,  if it throws you to the same wrong page, check another site. Most importantly, don't accept any unusual and sudden warning message you you see on net,  like the one warning you that your Android device is infected,  that you should "click here to disinfect it"

Is all tricks to hijack your data or to push virus to your phone.  When these viruses and Trojans get into your phone,  they will be performing actions for these hackers, and they make huge revenues(money) from these actions.
