HOW TO USE MICROWAVE AND BLENDERS

Buying kitchen appliances is one thing and knowing how to use them is another. So in this article I want to point out few things you may take to be nothing but they count a lot in handling most of the kitchen electronics you know.
Let's dive in🙄

Mirowaves....

This is an appliance  that uses heat or microwaves to heat up items. A microwave is a type of electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths longer than infrared but shorter than radio waves, typically ranging from 300 MHz to 300 GHz. Always go for good brands and make sure the micro waves are not leaking as it is dangerous to the body, it is completely safe and healthy, but apply the below cautions.

TIPS...

1. Do not use plastics to place food items in the microwave, this causes cancer because plates tend to react with the food stored in them when hot and can melt also.

2. Do not place items in the microwave  without the microwave  plate place properly  at the bottom.

3. Do not use metallic or stainless containers as microwaves do not penetrate  metals. They will bounce off the microwaves leaving only the outer surface of the container  hot while the content will be untouched.

4. Always  stop the oven before bringing out the items and always close the  door properly before operating.

5. Always operate in full estimated voltage or use a stabilizer and make sure the power cord of the microwave  is plugged  directly  to the wall outlet not into extension sockets. Using with low power, can trick you into thinking that something is wrong with the appliance.

6. Use ceramics, or thick glass containers or plates to place items in the microwave.

7. Always  refer to the user manual before operating them to optimize your experience.

Blenders...

1. When filling the blender's container with the items you want to blend, don't let the quantity to pass the maximum mark on the container and don't let it be below lowers mark, if you are blending fruits, remember not to add much water at first, rather add water occasionally as you blend to avoid making the mixture to be too watery

2. Most blenders have HIGH or POWER MODE button separately and also 1, 2, 3 GEARS buttons, don't use the highest speed/power mode for too long if the quantity of items you placed inside is much, doing so can damage the rotating motor coil of the blender. Rather  use the highest power in a simultaneous on and off method.

3. When using solar energy, make sure the inverter unit of the solar system is outputting PURESINEWAVE. Modified or squared sinewave will make the motor coil of the blender to over heat and burn out so quickly and operate abnormally, infact with modified sinewave inverters, you will fry the blender.

4. Do not use low voltage too often and if you must, please blend the items in a smaller quantity than you would have. Blenders are rated 250w up to 2500 watts depending on the type you bought, when the power is low, you are also putting more pressure on the motor coil which can spoil them, you can use stabilizer to step up the voltage and also don't use too high voltage ⚡.

5. Know the type of blender you bought and choose the items you want to blend accordingly.

Industrial blenders...
Rated upto 3000watts of power usage, and can blend almost everything that's supposed to be blended, they have more power and have strong compartment and blender blades.

Normal blenders...

These have from 150 to 500 watts of power, suitable for fruits and grinding pepper, melon and other mild food items.

In conclusion, appliances makes our life at home easy, so use them the right way, they won't just last longer but will also serve their purpose better.
